​Training tips for Black Belt Excellence:

Stretch whenever possible, especially before class.

Use the training area mirrors to your advantage.

​Practice your actions and forms mentally as well as physically.

​It's normal to feel a little sore when you start training. It lasts a couple of days. Give your body a chance to adjust to new challenges!

​Ask questions when you're not sure or need clarification about the material. The instructors will constantly introduce new actions and techniques. Questions are welcomed.

Take notes after class. Notes are a great tool, especially before a belt testing.

​Be open minded. Always be willing to try anything without limiting yourself with "I can't!"
